  • 🥎 Fusia Center for the Arts Wins 2025 Minors Softball Championship! 🏆

Congratulations to Fusia Center for the Arts on winning the 2025 Minors Softball Championship with a 12–8 victory over a strong VFW Post 2540 team this past Sunday at Creekview Park!

The game was packed with excitement and incredible plays on both sides. Addison B led Fusia both at the plate and in the circle, going 3-for-3 with three singles and striking out 12 batters over five innings to earn the win. She was backed by a relentless offensive attack and solid team defense that helped seal the championship.

Fusia got the scoring started in the first inning with a bases-loaded walk by Reese W. Though Cassidy McIvers stole home to tie the game in the second for VFW, Fusia responded immediately. They exploded for five runs in the bottom of the inning, with a key 2-RBI double by Annabelle S on a full count leading the charge.

The momentum continued into the third and fourth, with Reese stealing home again in the third and another five-run rally in the fourth, fueled by hits from Addison, Annabelle, and Riley M, plus two more runs on steals of home. Fusia tallied eight hits total and showed patience at the plate with eight walks, led by Reese, Amelia S, and Destiny H (each with two).

On the basepaths, Fusia was aggressive and effective, racking up 16 stolen bases from seven different players. They also executed defensively, turning a double play and committing no errors. Reese W anchored the defense with 12 fielding chances, the most of any player in the game.

VFW Post 2540 put up a tremendous fight, displaying heart, hustle, and impressive pitching. Ambree Volino opened on the mound with two strong innings and 3 strikeouts, while Emily Miller took over in the third and delivered back-to-back shutout innings with 5 more Ks. Miller also recorded all three outs in the third inning and made a key force play at first base earlier in the game.

Offensively, VFW was led by Brielle Sudziarski and Saanvi Rauniyar, each collecting a hit and driving in two runs. Ambree Volino and Breahna Merrick also had hits. The team stayed disciplined, drawing eight walks and stealing an incredible 17 bases. Behind the plate, Breahna Merrick caught the full game and led the defense with eight fielding plays.

Although VFW closed the gap late and played error-free defense throughout the game, Fusia Center for the Arts' early offensive outbursts and commanding pitching performance carried them to the title. It was a well-fought game by both teams and a fitting end to a fantastic season.

With clutch performances, aggressive baserunning, and solid teamwork, Fusia Center for the Arts is your 2025 Minors Softball Champion. Congratulations to the players, coaches, and families on an unforgettable championship run! 🎉🥇

  • 🥎 Dreher Agency Softball Claims 2025 Majors Championship! 🏆

Congratulations to Dreher Agency Softball on capturing the Majors Softball Championship with a hard-fought 13–11 win over Schnaitman’s Flooring America on Saturday at Creekview Park!

Fueled by explosive early offense, Dreher jumped out to a commanding 11-run lead by the fourth inning, but the game was anything but over. Schnaitman’s launched a dramatic comeback attempt that saw them plate 11 runs in the final two innings, ultimately falling just short in a thrilling, high-scoring affair.

Dreher’s bats came alive early with a five-run first inning thanks to hits from Drew T, Gianna W, and Eliza D, and key walks drawn by Gianna F and Adelyn S. The team kept the pressure on in the second and third innings, capitalizing on a clutch RBI single by Adelyn and a costly defensive error to extend the lead to 8–0.

In the top of the fifth, Sophia R delivered one of the game’s defining moments — a two-run inside-the-park home run — adding to an already standout performance that included three RBIs and a 3-for-4 day at the plate. Drew matched that effort, also going 3-for-3 with a triple, two singles, and multiple stolen bases. Gianna and Adelyn also had multi-hit games.

On the mound, Gianna opened the game for Dreher with dominance, striking out eight over three shutout innings without allowing a walk. Drew came in to pitch in relief as the game tightened late. Despite surrendering some runs, Dreher’s defense held strong when it mattered most.

Schnaitman’s Flooring America made it a nail-biter, scoring five runs in the fourth and six more in the fifth — all without recording a hit in the final frame. Their patience at the plate was impressive, drawing 14 walks and stealing a whopping 30 bases. Players like Isabella V, Rosabella A, Abigail C, and Andrea B contributed offensively, while Alexa H battled through four and two-thirds innings on the mound for Schnaitman’s.

Dreher Agency’s own baserunning clinic was just as impressive — the team racked up 16 stolen bases, with Drew, Gianna, and Adelyn leading the charge. The team’s discipline at the plate resulted in 15 total walks, allowing them to control the pace of the game from the start.

This back-and-forth battle capped off an incredible season for both squads. Dreher Agency Softball showcased determination, power, and teamwork to secure the 2025 Majors Softball Championship. A huge congratulations to the players, coaches, and families on a season to remember and a well-deserved title! 🥇🎉

  • 🏆 YMI Baseball Crowned Majors Champions! 🏆

Congratulations to YMI Baseball on winning the Majors Baseball Championship with a commanding 14-4 victory over MVO Spring 2025 on Friday night at Morey Field!

YMI’s offense exploded in the early innings and never looked back, with Jalen P leading the charge. Jalen drove in four runs on a pair of clutch hits, including a momentum-shifting three-run double in the second inning and an RBI single in the fourth. He also shined on the mound, pitching five strong innings, striking out six, and allowing just three earned runs to secure the win.

After falling behind early, YMI answered immediately in the bottom of the first with a two-run single by Landon W and an RBI groundout by George S to take a 3-2 lead. Though MVO tied it in the second, YMI responded in a big way, scoring five runs on just one hit in the bottom of the inning to break the game open. George added another RBI groundout in the third to make it 9-3.

On offense, Brendan W, Jalen, and Michael B each collected two hits, while Damien W and George also contributed to YMI’s five-hit effort. The team showed patience and discipline at the plate, drawing nine walks overall, with Jeremiah R and Jackson K reaching twice each via free passes.

Despite strong hitting from MVO — including a two-hit game from Jordan V and two RBIs from Luca H — it wasn’t enough to hold off the relentless pressure from YMI’s offense and sharp defense. MVO managed six hits and multiple stolen bases, but the early deficit proved too much to overcome.

YMI’s championship performance was a true team effort built on smart at-bats, clutch pitching, and steady defense. Congratulations again to the players, coaches, and families for an unforgettable season and a well-earned championship title! ⚾🥇
